Gov. Pence Cuts Taxes
Gov. Pence Cuts Taxes
Gov. Mike Pence talks to the press after making an appeal for a 10% income tax cut to the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce in April 2013. Pence compromised with legislative Republican leaders for a 5% income tax cut, along with an expedited repeal of the state's inheritance tax, and cuts to corporate and financial institution taxes. Pence hailed it as the largest tax cut in Indiana history and intends to match a pitch for jobs in the Midwest's lowest taxed state. Gov. Pence inherited an 8% jobless rate and after six months in office, it had increased to 8.4%.

  • Pence says Trump immigration principles 'unchanged'
"There will be no change in the principle here. There will be no path to legalization and no path to citizenship. Donald Trump will articulate what we do with the people who are here." - Indiana Gov. Mike Pence to CNN’s Jack Tapper on “State of the Union” Sunday. Tapper repeatedly pressed Pence on whether Donald Trump still wants to deport all undocumented immigrants. Pence refused to say, at one point saying deportation was “a mechanism, not a policy.” Watch the video by clicking here.
