  • Russian President Putin defends Trump's 'legitimacy'
“The people who are ordering this kind of false information, who are now disseminating it against the president-elect of the United States, who fabricate it and use it in a political fight, are worse than prostitutes. They have no moral boundaries. What do you think, our intelligence services are chasing after every American billionaire? Of course not! It’s total nonsense.” - Russian President Vladimir Putin to journalists in Moscow, defending U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s “legitimacy” on Tuesday. Putin denied the Russians have compiled a dossier on Trump during his visits to Russia. The Senate Intelligence Committee will investigate U.S. intelligence agency estimates that Russia interfered in the U.S. presidential election. Putin’s scope on “moral boundaries” is interesting, since he murders journalists and political opponents, imprisons political and business rivals, has accumulated a fortune estimated to be between $40 billion and $70 billion, has taken over the Russian press, annexed Crimea, invaded Ukraine, with his forces there downing a Malaysian airliner.
